THANKS FOR
VISITING US!
PLEASE COME BACK AGAN SOON!
Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day
listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is hardly a waste of time.

Burns Gardens started with only a vision,
sitting atop a woodsy tangled hillside overlooking Hood Canal.
From Spring Rhodies, flowering Cherry trees , Summer roses, Fall Maples to Winter snowfalls, we have joyfully documented the seasons as they come and go in our life!
Cool green grass makes this a very happy time in our dogs' lives!
AND summer always brings roses!
AUTUMN IS A SECOND SPRING, WHEN EVERY LEAF IS A FLOWER!

SPRING MAY BE OUR FAVORITE SEASON! WE HAVE COLLECTED OVER 100 RHODODENDRONS OVER THE LAST 40 YEARS, BRINGING THEM WITH US FROM HOME TO HOME.
THE SCULPTURE GARDEN . . .
A WORK IN PROGRESS
FOR EVERY WINTER THERE IS A SPRING!
SUZI'S SCULPTURE GARDEN BEGAN SIMPLY AS A HIDDEN PLACE IN THE WOODS WHERE SHE COULD KEEP HER OUTDOOR SCULPTURES.
EVENTUALLY IT BECAME EVIDENT THIS GARDEN HAD BECOME ONE OF HER PAINTINGS, BUT THIS PAINTING WOULD NEVER BE FINISHED!
FROM THE SHADY SIDE (peace) THROUGH THE TORI GATE TO THE SUNNY SIDE (joy) THERE ARE WOOD, STONE, AND OTHER SURPRISES LURKING BETWEEN THE FERNS!
Welcome to Burns Gardens 17th Year in Port Ludlow!
We hope you enjoy a virtual stroll through the gardens!!
I WONDER IF THE SNOW LOVES THE TREES AND FIELDS THAT IT KISSES THEM SO GENTLY? AND THEN IT COVERS THEM UP SNUG, YOU KNOW, WTH A WHITE QUILT; AND PERHAPS IT SAYS, "GO TO SLEEP DARLINGS, TILL THE SUMMER COMES AGAIN."

AUTUMN
BILL'S ORCHARD IN THE SHADOW OF TALL FIR TREES SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE HARVEST AND ALWAYS COMES THROUGH FOR HIM!
