My house was green
On one side
And we had hollyhocks in our yard.

There were real boats
and real trains;
our very own.
And we ran free and happy.

I was the butterfly – she
was the bee
As we twirled and giggled
to the music of the piano.

And our hollyhocks grew straight
And full
And reached for the sky.

White Tulips Poem

As you travel life’s path . . .
May you see your destination
as a place in your heart.

May you keep company
with sunshine and wild flowers.

May Angels ride on your shoulders
and sleep in your heart.

May the winds of change blow gently
as not to scare the songbirds.

May there always be
butterflies
around the corner,

And at least once in your lifetime . .

May you see White Tulips
Dancing with a Blue Moon!
