welcome to burns gardens
celebrating 22 years on our woodsy hillside
Welcome to Burns Gardens 17th Year in Port Ludlow!
From Spring Rhodies, flowering Cherry trees, Summer roses, Fall Maples to Winter snowfalls, we have joyfully documented the seasons as they come and go in our life!
SPRING
SPRING MAY BE OUR FAVORITE SEASON! WE HAVE COLLECTED OVER 100 RHODODENDRONS OVER THE LAST 40 YEARS, BRINGING THEM WITH US FROM HOME TO HOME.
Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day
listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.

AUTUMN
BILL’S ORCHARD IN THE SHADOW OF TALL FIR TREES SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE HARVEST AND ALWAYS COMES THROUGH FOR HIM!
AUTUMN IS A SECOND SPRING, WHEN EVERY LEAF IS A FLOWER!

WINTER
I WONDER IF THE SNOW LOVES THE TREES AND FIELDS THAT IT KISSES THEM SO GENTLY? AND THEN IT COVERS THEM UP SNUG, YOU KNOW, WTH A WHITE QUILT; AND PERHAPS IT SAYS, “GO TO SLEEP DARLINGS, TILL THE SUMMER COMES AGAIN.”
